OS2010
The past weeks I did some work in the development team of the VitalityChecker. It´s a Surface application were people can get information about health and sports related subject like the heart and your heartage, brains and concentration, muscles and power, etc. Also, people can register the scores the get from all kind of games and devices at the campus and compare these scores with friends or professional athletes
We build the Surface application for the VitalityCampus at the Holland Heineken House in Vancouver.
One of my colleagues went to Vancouver to install the Surface and now that the games have started I'm trying to spot pictures of the surface at the VitalityCampus. Here´s the first.
Photoshoot
Nicole contacted me a while ago and asked me if I wanted to do a shoot with her.
After looking at here website I read some ideas she liked to work out and one of them was a shoot with a cute dog.
Not long ago I had a shoot with Diva, the chihuahua of my sister, so the dog was arranged quickly.
Family of my wife has a webshop with great dog clothing, so I could borrow some tiny clothes and collars and a colleague of me had a great old-looking chair I wanted to use.
Lazy sunday
Sunday afternoon... It´s cold outside, snow on the pavement and red wine in my glass. Just the right ingredients to open photoshop, combine some tutorials and try to learn something new.
This image is the result of it. You may use it for non-commercials projects or just dowload it as a wallpaper if you like. You can download it here.
I used a grungy texture from ZenTextures and brushes from Sunira.
If you like it (or not) then leave a comment.
Fish
I´m not tha
t much of an aquarist, but last week we decided to get rid of the Guppies (Poecilia reticulata) we keep in our Aqua-40 and replace them with tropical fish.
The little fellow at the left is one of the first inhabitants and it is called Otocinclus affinis.
Next week we´ll be transfering all remaining Guppies to friends and family and after that we will need to find some new, small and not to difficult inhabitants.
One of the first I´d like to add are some small shrimps.
Ofcourse the environment had to change too, so I tried to find some nice examples and I accidentialy stumbled upon the name Takashi Amano.
The first time I saw his aquaria I was amazed by the beauty of it. Each image of one of his aquaria was beautifully balanced (both ecological as compositional).
As I read further on his website I found out that he is a photographer and designer too.
You should really take a look at his 'Nature Aquarium' pictures.
Never thought I would actually post something about aquaria, thought. Well, as soon as there is something nice to tell (or show) you´ll find an update here.

The first one
Well, here it is. My first post on the new JipJip.com website.
I´m not that much of a blogger, but I wanted to have the functionality in my new website so I could share new images and articles about stuff I found on the web.
For now the site is very basic. As most of you can see it is a WordPress website and I´ve used a fabulous theme called Lightword. As soon as I´m familiar enough with WordPress I´m going to make my own heme, but for now it´s a very nice theme. I´m having a little trouble with the thumbnails, but that will be fixed soon.
So... what about the dog?
She´s called Diva and my last shoot was with her. I hate to open a blog without pictures, so Diva´s shoot is new, my blog is new: I had to put her in here.
Check out my portfolio page for more picture and feel free to leave a message behind.
